Manchester United’s chase for Ghana’s Antoine Semenyo could be in jeopardy
Man United to miss out on Ghana sensation Antoine Semenyo

Manchester United could be dealt a big blow in their pursuit of Ghanaian sensation Antoine Semenyo if they fail to make the Champions League cut next season.
Reports have it that the Red Devils’ chase for the Bournemouth forward could eventually hit a snag if the club fails to win the Europa League, and also sell some players to increase their transfer bag for their summer rebuilding.
According to talkSPORT, Manchester United have opened discussions with Bournemouth forward Antoine Semenyo about a potential summer transfer.

While The Independent also corroborates the story, stating that United have opened talks with Bournemouth’s Antoine Semenyo, 25, over a potential move in the summer.
However, the report reveals that the possibility of the £60m-rated forward arriving this summer may hinge on Ruben Amorim’s side winning the Europa League and selling some players.
The report further adds that Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap could come as a perfect alternative, which will not be dependent on United winning the competition, with the 22-year-old reportedly having a £30m relegation release clause.

United’s transfer plan for the summer includes potentially signing Wolves’ Matheus Cunha for around £60m and attempting to offload struggling attackers Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
The report adds that the club have placed both players on the transfer market – having only amassed a disappointing combined tally of seven goals in the Premier League this season.
Despite their abysmal showing for United, Juventus are revealed to be linked with Hojlund, with Inter Milan also looking at a potential loan move for Zirkee.
The fact that the Red Devils may cash in on the duo, who cost a combined total of £108m, after a combined three years at Old Trafford is alarming.
The versatile forward, Semenyo, who is on a contract until 2029 at Bournemouth, has scored nine goals and provided six assists in 35 Premier League games this season.
