Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United in doubt

Ruben Amorim has reportedly closed all avenues of Marcus Rashford’s return back to Manchester United, with the club setting a huge price-tag for the Aston Villa loanee.
The Red Devils are reportedly seeking a permanent deal worth around £60million, with Villa emerging as a leading candidate to secure his services come summer.

The England forward before his move to Villa fell out of favour due to concerns with his attitude both on and off the pitch. But the 27-year-old has returned to form and is thriving under Unai Emery’s guidance.

He has played a pivotal role in Villa’s push for Champions League football with four assists in nine matches – he looks exciting in Claret and Sky Blue colors – seems the change of environment has reignited a desire in him to play football once again.
Rashford himself is believed to be keen on extending his stay at Villa Park, viewing it as the ideal place to relaunch his career under Emery.

However, according to the Daily Star, Amorim seems to prioritise signing a new striker in the summer, with the likes of Victor Osimhen and Viktor Gyokeres, strengthening circulating reports of Rashford’s permanent exit from Old Trafford.
