Mohamed Salah wins the Premier League Player of the Month award for a record-equalling seventh time

Mohamed Salah has been named the Premier League Player of the Month for February, earning the accolade for a record-equalling seventh time.

The Liverpool forward played a pivotal role in his team’s title challenge, registering an outstanding 10 goal contributions throughout the month.

He netted six times, including a crucial brace against AFC Bournemouth and the opener in a 2-0 win over Manchester City, while also providing four assists.

Salah scored six times for Liverpool last month

Salah edged out competition from Beto, Jean-Philippe Mateta, Yankuba Minteh, Djed Spence, and Liverpool teammate Dominik Szoboszlai to claim the award.

This latest triumph sees the Egyptian draw level with Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane as the joint-most decorated winners of the award.

Previously, he had been tied on six with Steven Gerrard and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah’s previous Player of the Month awards came in November 2017, February 2018, March 2018, October 2021, October 2023, and November 2024.
