Nations FC sign forward Farouk Mohammed from Hohoe United

Ghana Premier League side, Nations FC, has announced the capture of attacker Faruk Mohamed ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season.
The budding forward has signed a two-year deal with the Abrankese club following a fruitful negotiation between the two clubs.

He joins Nations from newly promoted Premier League side Hohoe United.

Mohammed played a pivotal role in Hohoe United’s promotion charge, netting 15 goals to win the Golden Boot, adding to the 17 strikes he registered in the 2023/24 Zone Three of the Access Bank Division One League season
The exciting forward will now don the colours of the Kumasi-based side as they continue to strengthen their squad ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
Known for his pace, direct play, and eye for goal, Faruk’s arrival is expected to add sharpness to Nations FC’s attack.
Farouk has been identified as the ideal replacement for Nafiu Sulemana who left the club to join Iraq club Al-Etisalat.
Nations FC will compete in the 2025 Nsenkyire Cup scheduled to start on August 28 in Samreboi.
Farouk is expected to make his debut in the preseason tournaments before the start of the 2025/26 League season.
