Nurudeen Amadu is confident of saving Karela United from going down

The head coach of Karela United, Nurudeen Amadu, is confident that he can guide the team to avoid relegation in the Ghana Premier League.

Despite the Tamale-based outfit’s uninspiring performance in the ongoing campaign, Amadu is determined to lead the team to safety.

With only 6 wins and 12 losses in 25 games, Karela United currently sit 15th on the league table with 25 points, sparking concerns among fans about their chances of survival.

However, Amadu is undeterred and believes that he can work his magic to help the team escape relegation.

“There’s no way I’ll lead this team to relegation,” Amadu told Graphic Sports. “I’ve done it before with King Faisal and I’m ready to do it again with Karela United. The team is not very strong compared to others in the Premier League, but I am here and determined to help Karela escape relegation, which was why I was brought in.”

Amadu’s experience and track record in the Ghana Premier League are certainly impressive. He won the league with Samartex, but a poor start to the 2024/25 season led to his sacking. Now, he is hoping to get his career back on track by performing magic to save Karela from going down.

Karela United’s next match is against Aduana FC, and Amadu will be keenly focused on securing a positive result to boost the team’s chances of survival.

With his determination and experience, fans of the team will be hoping that Amadu can work his magic and lead Karela to safety.
