Chelsea are keen to strengthen their goalkeeping roster, showing interest in Italian star Gianluigi Donnarumma.
PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma rejects contract amid Chelsea interest

Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma has reportedly refused to sign a contract extension with the Ligue 1 giants amid strong interest from Chelsea, per reports.
Donnarumma might leave Paris this summer, as the current Champions League winners want to prevent a repeat of Kylian Mbappe’s free transfer to Real Madrid.
Donnarumma is in the final year of his contract at PSG and has not yet agreed to extend his stay with the club. The Italian goalkeeper has attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Premier League giants Chelsea.

According to L’Equipe, PSG officials are aiming to sell star goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma this summer following his refusal to sign a new contract.
The reigning European and French champions are eager to avoid a repeat of Kylian Mbappe’s departure, when the France captain left as a free agent in the summer of 2024 to join Los Blancos.
Multiple top European clubs are eager to sign the 26-year-old goalkeeper. Should Donnarumma return to Italy, Inter and Juventus are the frontrunners, but his most likely destination appears to be the Premier League, with Chelsea showing strong interest in the Italy international.

The Parisians will look to redeem themselves on the European front after a disappointing showing in the FIFA Club World Cup, losing 3-0 to the Blues in the final of the new 32-team format early July.
Luis Enrique’s side will kick off their new season with their first official match on August 13, facing Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup final.
