PSG are Champions League winners for the very first time in the club’s history
PSG thrash Inter Milan in humiliating fashion to lift first-ever UCL

Paris Saint-Germain decisively defeated Inter Milan 5-0 in a humiliating fashion during the UEFA Champions League final on Saturday, claiming the prestigious European trophy for the first time in the club’s history.
The Parisians, who were the favourites on the night, according to the bookie, did not disappoint after an early positive start to the game at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany.
On the biggest stage of the night, poised with anticipation and filled with thrill, with lights glittering in a colourful ambiance, it was PSG’s young prodigy Desire Doue who stole the show.

The 19-year-old led by example in the first half with a goal and an assist before adding another goal in the second half to take the game away from the Nerazzurri.
The French Under-20 forward set up Achraf Hakimi for a simple tap-in against his old side and then converted from range, coming in off the right.

Doue becomes the first player to be involved in three or more goals in a Champions League final, while 5-0 is the biggest ever margin of victory.
His first strike made him just the third teenager to score in the Champions League final after Patrick Kluivert in 1995 (for Ajax v Milan) and Carlos Alberto in 2004 (for Porto v Monaco).
The French international is also the sixth player to both score and assist in a Champions League final, while at 19 years and 362 days – the youngest to do so.

Doue put the game beyond Inter in the 63rd minute by finishing off another beautiful team goal, and then Khvicha Kvaratskhelia killed the game off with a fourth, and academy star Senny Mayulu sparked early celebrations with a fifth – Mayulu becomes the fourth teenager to score in a Champions League final.

Even with the arrival of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia from Napoli in January, he has maintained his spot, responding with 15 goals and 15 assists overall.
PSG dominated proceedings from the onset, putting up a five-star performance. Luis Enrique’s side also completed a historic treble with victory in Munich.

Inter looked out of place, and way out of depth – there was no rescue for the Italians. Luis Enrique’s gallant men completed a treble and claimed the biggest margin of victory in a Champions League final.
Indeed, it was a final that separated the men from the boys. Simone Inzaghi’s men failed to cope with Enrique’s boys. Quite evidently, the oldest side in Serie A this season, with an average age of 29, was tested by a far too quick and pacy French arsenal with an average age of 23.

The past could not write the best part of PSG’s story – one that marked the advent of a presumed star-studded squad with the dream of clinching a European trophy one day. However, the story for the future was etched in Munich by a youthful contingent that had every right to do so on the night with such a performance.
PSG outclassed Inter in a devastating style – poking the Italian giants in the other eye – so humiliating, bringing back memories of their loss to Manchester City in the 2023 final.
