Alexander-Arnold has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join Real Madrid
Real Madrid approach Liverpool for early signing of Trent Alexander-Arnold

According to Sky Sports’ Kaveh Solhekol, Real Madrid have approached Liverpool about securing Trent Alexander-Arnold’s services ahead of next month’s Club World Cup.
Alexander-Arnold’s contract with the Reds is set to expire on 30 June, but Real Madrid are eager to sign him early so he can feature in their opening match of the tournament, which is scheduled for June 18 against Al Hilal in Miami.
Madrid are expected to follow up on their initial approach, making it clear they are determined to bring in the 26-year-old for the competition.

This urgency was evident when they contacted Liverpool soon after Alexander-Arnold announced he would be leaving at the end of the season.
The England international has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to join the 15-time European champions this summer.
Having come through Liverpool’s academy, he has made 352 appearances for the first team, securing two Premier League titles, including this season’s.
Over the course of his career, the defender helped Liverpool win the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and Club World Cup in 2019. He also lifted two Carabao Cups, one FA Cup, and one Community Shield.
This season, Alexander-Arnold is one of the three key Liverpool players out of contract, alongside Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.
While Liverpool have successfully extended Salah and Van Dijk’s contracts by two years, they are set to lose Alexander-Arnold without receiving a transfer fee.

In an interview with LFC TV, the right-back acknowledged the possibility of staying at Liverpool but explained that a change in his career was necessary.
“So it was never about not having confidence in that, it just boiled down to what I felt I needed, and that is a change,” he said.
“That’s something I need to do on my personal journey as a person, but also as a player and a professional, to go and challenge myself elsewhere.
“I feel like a challenge in a different environment is something I need to do as a player.”
