Sociedad star Zubimendi agrees personal terms with Arsenal

Martin Zubimendi has agreed terms with Premier League side Arsenal ahead of a proposed summer move according to transfer expert Ben Jacobs.

Zubimendi, 26, rejected a summer 2024 move to Liverpool and in the last few days has been linked with Real Madrid.

But according to the transfer expert, the Gunners remain ahead in the race to sign the Euro 2024 winner.

Arsenal remain in search of reinforcements ahead of the summer, with Thomas Partey and Jorginho set to become free agents in the summer.

A potential deal for the services of the Spaniard is priced at £50million.

Arsenal are set to name a new sporting director and Andrea Berta, the former director at Atletico Madrid is high on the list.

According to multiple reports, Zubimendi is one of Berta’s favorite players and he will be looking to recruit him.

The Gunners are set to miss out on the Premier League trophy as the club are lagging behind table toppers Liverpool.

They have finished second in the last two seasons.

The club has also been linked to strikers like Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko, as they look to bolster their forward line.

Athletic Club winger Nico Williams has also been linked with a move to the Gunners.
