In a tactical shift, Coach Addo has abandoned the 4-1-4-1 system used against Chad in favor of a 3-5-2 formation.
Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare retains his spot in goal, shielded by a three-man defensive unit comprising Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, and Jerome Opoku. Kingsley Schindler and Gideon Mensah will operate as wingbacks, providing width to the team.
In midfield, Thomas Partey will partner Abu Francis, while Ghana’s attack will be spearheaded by Antoine Semenyo and captain Jordan Ayew, with Mohammed Kudus operating in a supporting role behind them.
The Black Stars will be seeking to consolidate their position at the top of Group I, following their 5-0 win over Chad on Friday.
