Tottenham set to sign Nottingham Forest attacker Morgan Gibbs-White

Tottenham are actively negotiating a transfer fee to secure Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White this summer.

Tottenham Hotspur have set their sights on Nottingham Forest’s Morgan Gibbs-White and are actively negotiating a potential summer transfer for the 25-year-old attacker.

Spurs are set to complete a deal for West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus as new manager Thomas Frank looks to bolster his attacking options for next season.

Gibbs-White, who scored seven goals and registered 11 assists last season as Nottingham Forest qualified for Europe, is being discussed by the London side.

Earlier this year, reports linked the English international with a potential move to Manchester City as a replacement for the departed Kevin De Bruyne, but the Citizens have since signed AC Milan’s Tijjani Reijnders and Rayan Cherki as their new attacking midfield options.

Tottenham’s interest in Gibbs-White emerges just a day after the Europa League champions secured a £55 million deal with West Ham for Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus.

According to The Telegraph, Tottenham are keen to trigger Gibbs-White’s £60 million release clause in his contract at Forest.

Transfer guru Fabrizio Romano has added his voice, indicating that a medical with Spurs is expected to take place in the next 24 hours, after the London club triggered his release clause on Thursday 10.

Tottenham are actively in the market to bolster their squad under Thomas Frank’s leadership following a disappointing 17th-place finish in the 2024/25 Premier League season, which prompted Ange Postecoglou’s sacking despite the club’s Europa League success.

Meanwhile, Kudus is poised to complete his transfer today, finalizing his routine medical examination and signing a six-year contract with Tottenham.

While the likes of Kevin Danso and Mathys Tel’s loan moves have been made permanent so far this summer, and also adding defender Kota Takai to bolster the ranks.

Tottenham are poised to officially confirm the signings of Kudus and Gibbs-White soon as they gear up for the 2025/26 season.
