Chelsea completed the signing of Sporting Lisbon sensation Geovany Quenda on Friday, after agreeing on a deal in principle for his signature.The 17-year-old is expected to sign a seven-year deal at Stamford Bridge with an option for an extra season after a fee of about £40m was agreed.Quenda, who will not join the club until 2026, is versatile enough to play on either side and can beat defenders in one-on-one duels - the kind of player profile Chelsea seems to lack in their young-assembled armory at the moment.The Portugal Under-21 international has scored two goals and has eight assists in 43 matches since breaking through into the first team at Sporting.Manchester United's manager Ruben Amorim was looking forward to reuniting with the youngster, however, Chelsea moved quickly to secure his services.On the same day, the youngster received another good news from Portugal manager Roberto Martinez, who has selected the uncapped teenage sensation in his squad for their Nations League quarter-final against Denmark next week.
