Flick urges Barca to finish the job in Germany

FC Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has revealed his team will do all that it takes to book a place in the semi final of the UEFA Champions League come Tuesday night.

Barca already have a 4-0 advantage after the first-leg at the Olympic Stadium but will be aiming for another victory to pass what club president Joan Laporta labelled a ‘statement to the world.’

Hansi Flick has shared similar thoughts on Tuesday’s second-leg clash in Germany, revealing that his team is ready to do whatever it takes to reach the semi-finals of the competition.

“We know what we have to do. We cannot relax or get complacent in Germany. We are ready for the win and must do everything we can to reach the semi final despite our good advantage”, he said.

Should Barcelona progress against Dortmund, they will face the winner of the Bayern/Inter clash, and that fixture is one that will determine whether or not they can go all the way for the title.

Also, if Barcelona reach the final of the Champions League, it would be their first in 10 years, since their infamous treble win under now-PSG manager Luis Enrique.
