Rice is said to be recovering from a hamstring issue
Why Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice missed Liverpool clash

Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice missed Sunday’s match against Liverpool due to a muscular issue, believed to be a hamstring strain, according to BBC Sport.
Rice, who played the full 90 minutes in last Wednesday’s 2-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, was notably absent from the squad that made a remarkable comeback against the Reds, fighting back from two goals down to earn a draw.
Ahead of the game at Anfield, manager Mikel Arteta confirmed Rice’s absence but refrained from specifying the exact nature of the injury.

Arteta stated: “Declan couldn’t even train, so unfortunately, he’s injured and couldn’t make the game.”

While there is optimism that the injury is not severe, Arsenal’s medical team is taking a cautious approach, ensuring no risks are taken with the England international.
Arsenal have two Premier League fixtures remaining, against Newcastle on Sunday and Southampton on the final day of the season.
The Gunners need just two more points to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League and are currently two points ahead of third-placed Newcastle in the race for second place in the Premier League.
Rice’s injury will undoubtedly raise concerns for England head coach Thomas Tuchel ahead of next month’s internationals.
Rice is a key player in Tuchel’s plans and is expected to be included in England’s squad for their upcoming matches against Andorra and Senegal in June.
