Raul Asencio signs long-term contract with Real Madrid

The agreement comes after a breakthrough season for the young defender

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Raul Asencio has signed a new long-term contract with Real Madrid, securing his future at the club.

The agreement comes after a breakthrough season for the young defender, who has made 25 first-team appearances since stepping up amid an injury crisis that sidelined Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, and David Alaba.

Asensio’s new contract represents a significant financial upgrade from his previous terms. He is set to earn €6.2million next season, with a structured wage increase that could see his salary rise to €9million by the final year of the deal.
