Chelsea’s plan for Incoming Ecuadorian wonderkid Kendry Paez has been revealed by the London club, puting speculations over his future to rest.

As it stands, Chelsea has indicated that Paez will not be sent out on loan to BlueCo-owned Strasbourg in the summer, as any loan move is ruled out.

Chelsea completed the signing of Paez from the Ecuadorian club Independiente del Valle in 2023.

In the deal, it was agreed between the two clubs that the player will travel to London at the end of the 2024-25 campaign when he turns 18.

Now, Teradeportes have also claimed that Paez’s representatives have declined speculation about the Ecuadorian being sent out on loan.

The same reports have revealed that the teenager is all set to travel with Enzo Maresca’s squad to the United States for the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

The report further adds that Paez will simply train with the west London side for now, but Maresca could consider including him in the final squad for the competition.

The Premier League club reportedly moved ahead of Borussia Dortmund in the race to sign Pez in 2023, as they paid a fee in the region of €20m (£17.2m) to land the youngster from his boyhood club.
