The team’s preparation for making a significant impact at the continental event will be assessed in large part by the next friendlies against Senegal.

The Black Queens earned their place in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations for the first time since 2018 after excelling in the qualifiers under Nora Hauptle.

Ghana has been placed in a tough group C alongside current champions South Africa, Mali and Tanzania. The competition will take place on 5-26 July, 2025.
