Mohammed Kudus’s potential move to Chelsea has been reignited by West Ham’s interest in goalkeeper Robert Sanchez
Chelsea offered chance to sign Mohammed Kudus from West Ham

Chelsea have been offered a lifetime opportunity to sign Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus from West Ham, according to Sky Sports.
The news outlet adds that West Ham have shown interest in securing the services of Chelsea goalkeeper Robert Sanchez – enquiring about the availability of the Spanish shot-stopper.
West Ham’s enquiry on Sanchez has sparked rumours of a potential swap deal, having worked with Graham Potter at Brighton.

The report further adds that the Hammers asked about Chelsea’s under-fire goalkeeper in negotiations between the two sides that saw a player-plus-cash deal for Mohammed Kudus turned down on Thursday.
Kudus have been a subject of interest from the Saudi Pro League side, with Al Nassr considering an £85 million swoop in early April.
Despite the interest and potential big-money pay-out, the 24-year-old has rather decided to continue his progress in the Premier League.

According to Sky Sports Premier League: “Chelsea have been offered the chance to sign West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus, with the Hammers enquiring about the availability of Robert Sanchez – who worked with Graham Potter at Brighton – in the other direction.”
Since Kudus’ move from Eredivisie giants Ajax for £38 million in August 2023, the dynamic forward has racked up 80 appearances, scored 19 goals, and provided 10 assists in all competitions.
Kudu had a torrid campaign last season, but was able to make 35 appearances, netting five goals, while registering four assists for the Hammers, who finished 14th in the Premier League.
Some reports indicate that the Ghanaian forward has two release clauses – a £120 million Saudi-specific release clause and an £85 million clause for Premier League clubs, which is active this summer.

Chelsea are looking for reinforcement in key areas of their squad before the Club World Cup, especially in wide positions, following the already confirmed signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town for a £30m fee.
The 22-year-old signed a six-year contract at Stamford Bridge after the Blues triggered his release clause following Ipswich’s relegation from the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Enzo Maresca’s side will be delighted by the new turn of events after an earlier proposal of a player-plus-cash deal was swiftly turned down by their London rivals.
With West Ham reportedly coming back to the negotiation table with their request for Sanchez, it presents Chelsea with a very rare opportunity to close a deal for Kudus.
