Barcelona are reportedly ready to sign Marcus Rashford permanently in the summer of 2027
Barcelona request one more loan agreement for Marcus Rashford

Barcelona is reportedly requesting an extended season-long loan deal for Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, according to reports.
Rashford joined Barcelona on loan from the Premier League giants, United, last summer and has since impressed with 10 goals and 13 assists in 38 appearances so far in the season.
Barcelona have the option to sign the 28-year-old for €30 million (£26.3m) this summer as part of their loan agreement with United, but rather, the La Liga leaders are reportedly seeking another loan deal for the English winger.

The Daily Mail reports that Barcelona are reportedly preparing another request from the Red Devils if they can extend Rashford’s loan for another year to run until the summer of 2027.
The report further adds that Barcelona would include a mandatory buy clause worth £26 million, which forces them to pay the fee next year.
Speaking last weekend, Barcelona’s sporting director, Deco, was quizzed about the prospects of the club making Rashford’s move permanent at the end of the season.
“We have a clear idea regarding Rashford and we know what needed to be done for him to stay,’ Deco said.
“But the matter is tied to financial fair play, priorities, performance, and the coach’s decision, and it’s something we haven’t done yet because it’s not the right time.”
Whether it is the right time or not for Barcelona to make the English international’s transfer permanent or not, there is a widely known financial crisis at Barcelona, and the issue of Financial Fair Play (FFP) regulations, which puts this deal into a whole new circus.

Meanwhile, Barcelona are reported to have been exploring other options in the Premier League as an alternative, should any prosposed deal for Rashford falls through.
Chelsea’s Pedro Neto is considered a potential alternative signing to Rashford, while Barcelona continue to have important discussions to keep their man at the Camp Nou beyond this summer.
