Cole Palmer extends his Chelsea contract a further one year until 2034
Chelsea confirm new contract for Cole Palmer

Chelsea have confirmed that forward Cole Palmer has signed a new contract at the club until 2034, an additional one-year deal to extend his existing contract, which was due to expire in 2033.
The England international’s contract extension at Stamford Bridge significantly puts to bed rumors of a potential move to rivals Manchester United. Palmer was born in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
The 24-year-old signed for the Blues in 2023 from Manchester City and, before renewing his contract, had already signed two separate contracts with the Premier League side.

The improved terms further emphasise his importance to the Chelsea project, and a clear intent from the club in 2026 to reward the core members of the squad and ward off suitors.
The attacker’s contract extension follows deals handed to Joao Pedro, Pedro Neto, Reece James and Moises Caicedo in the past year and underlines Palmer’s importance at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking after signing his contract extension, Palmer said:
“Chelsea means a lot to me and I think the club is going in the right direction, so I’m delighted to sign and I’m obviously very happy,’ Palmer said.
“Speaking to the owners, to the sporting directors and obviously the manager, they gave me a lot of confidence so it was only right to sign.
“Speaking to players as well, everyone has the same ambitions. I feel like we win major trophies here consistently and I want to be a part of that and play a big role in it too.”
This is alongside the marquee signing Morgan Rogers, who joined from Aston Villa in the summer. Sources have revealed that the club is working behind the scenes and expects that more renewals could be confirmed in the coming months.
In a club statement, ChelseaFC.com stated: “Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce that Cole Palmer has signed a new contract until 2034.”

He has provided 91 goal contributions in 138 appearances, won the FIFA Club World Cup and the UEFA Conference League, and claimed several individual awards.
The attacker has also made history on the international stage, becoming only the second England player to score in a European Championship final, netting against Spain at Euro 2024.

Last season, Palmer was involved in 14 goal contributions, including a strike against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League and yet another hat-trick, this time away to Wolves.
The talented forward has started the season strongly, scoring four goals and providing two assists in our opening seven matches.
