Bukayo Saka agrees long-term contract with Arsenal

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka has reportedly agreed a long-term contract with his boyhood club Arsenal, which will take him up to 2031.
Saka and Arsenal are expected to finalise a 5-year deal, with his current contract set to expire in 2027.
The England international has been pivotal to Arsenal’s project under Mikel Arteta, playing more minutes than any other Arsenal player since the manager’s appointment in 2020.

Since his breakthrough into the Gunners’ first team, he has made 290 appearances for the Gunners, scoring 77 goals, including seven in 27 games in all competitions this season.
The 24-year-old’s final closure to his highly anticipated contract extension will come as a relief for the Arsenal faithful.
According to journalist David Ornstein, the new contract will place him amongst the Premier League and Europe’s top wingers.

The England attacker has seven goals and five assists so far this season and is second only to Declan Rice in the most highly rated performers in the Arsenal team via stats site WhoScored.
With Saka still in his prime and his best years clearly lying ahead, his decision to stay at the Emirates Stadium delivers a massive boost to everyone connected with the club.
This offers Arteta the perfect foundation to keep moulding a truly world-class squad capable of challenging for silverware both now and for years to come.
News broke in September last year that Arsenal was set to renew the contract of the highly rated winger, and it is now expected to be completed soon.
Saka will join fellow Gunners, Gabriel Magalhaes, Myles Lewis-Skelly, and Ethan Nwaneri, among other key players, in recently signing new contracts at Arsenal.
