Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández receives praise from Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister

Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernández has responded to social media praise from Liverpool’s Alexis Mac Allister.
The two Premier League stars linked up for Argentina’s 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Brazil with some impressive performances.
Mac Allister has endured a tough time over the past weeks as Liverpool crashed out of the Champions League and the Carabao Cup to Newcastle.
Meanwhile, reports have indicated that Real Madrid is in the hunt for Fernández’s signature.
Both players, though, had to concentrate to ensure Argentina secured their qualification for next summer’s World Cup.

Although their place at the 2026 World Cup had already been confirmed, the reigning World champions did not take their foot off the pedal against bitter rivals Brazil – lashing them 4-1 to prove a point.

Both Mac Allister and Fernández recorded their names on the scoresheet, but it was the Chelsea man who volleyed in from an excellent ball for the Liverpool man’s goal.
The Liverpool playmaker was then keen to pay tribute to the Chelsea midfielder for his contribution in setting him up to score.
