Dean Huijsen hints on Real Madrid move this summer

Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen has sparked speculation over a potential move to Real Madrid this summer after openly expressing the desire to join the Spanish giants.

Speaking in an interview with Spanish outlet El Chiringuito, the young center-back revealed a friend’s message encouraged him to consider joining Los Blancos, and it is one he does not rule out this summer.

“One of my close friends sent me a story about Real Madrid… he told me: go to Madrid. It’s a big club. Every player wants to play in the biggest possible club” , he said.

Currently at Bournemouth, Dean Huijsen has impressed in the Premier League with his composure, physical presence, and ability to play from the back.

Although there is no official approach from Madrid for him yet, Huijsen’s comments have certainly added fuel to growing rumors, as Real continue to struggle in defense this season.

Real Madrid have a history of investing in young talent, and Huijsen’s profile definitely fits for next season, but only time will tell if he joins Los Blancos or secures a move elsewhere this summer.
