A statement from the club read:

ā€œCoach Sarpong commences his tenure today, November 2, 2025, ahead of our match against Aduana FC. He is expected to turn things around for the club following a difficult start to the campaign.ā€

Eleven Wonders have endured a tough start to the season, recording just two draws and five defeats in their opening seven matches. Their campaign began with a goalless draw against Holy Stars, followed by a 1-4 home loss to Heart of Lions and a 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in Accra.

The struggles continued with defeats to Young Apostles, Samartex, and Nations FC, with only a goalless draw against Karela United offering a brief respite.

Coach Sarpong, a former Ghana U-23 assistant coach, brings a wealth of experience to the club, having previously managed several Ghana Premier League sides including Liberty Professionals, Ebusua Dwarfs, Aduana Stars, Asante Kotoko, and Great Olympics, among others.

Renowned for his ability to develop young talents, his expertise is expected to be instrumental in guiding the club to stay in the Premier League.

His first assignment will be a crucial test against Aduana Stars at the University of Ghana Stadium.
