GFA President Kurt Okraku announces $100k investment into Colts Football

Ghana Football Association President, Kurt Okraku, has revealed they have injected $100,000 into Colts football as part of efforts to revitalize grassroots football development in the country. The investment will go a long way in providing essential support to Colts teams nationwide.

According to Okraku, the funds will be used to supply footballs and provide essential support to Colts teams nationwide. Additionally, another $100,000 will be directed towards Division Two, Division Three, and the Women’s League.
“We’ve decided to invest $100,000 in Colts football to supply footballs and provide essential support. Another $100,000 will go to the second, third, and women’s leagues,” Okraku said.
This initiative forms part of the GFA’s broader commitment to making football more accessible and inclusive across all levels, in line with the FIFA Forward Program.
The program aims to strengthen the global football ecosystem through infrastructure and development funding.
