Golden Warriors went on unbeaten to book their place in the Access Bank Division One League

In an outstanding conclusion to the 2024/25 Eastern Regional Division Two League, Golden Warriors FC emerged supreme, clinching the championship title with an impressive unbeaten record.

The team demonstrated exceptional tactical brilliance, resilient defending, and clinical finishing, earning them 13 points across the middle league campaign.

Golden Warriors FC’s dominance was evident in every match, as they delivered statements of intent and showcased their composure under pressure.

Their consistency and ability to perform under intense scrutiny set them apart from the competition, making them the deserving champions.

The Eastern Regional Football Association (ERFA) Middle League was marked by passionate displays from all participating teams, with fierce opening matches and dramatic late winners keeping fans on the edge of their seats.

However, Golden Warriors FC’s unwavering determination and skill ultimately paid off, as they stood tall and claimed the title.

At the helm of this success story is Coach Cosmos Akorli, who has been named the Best Coach of the Tournament. This recognition is an evident to his exceptional leadership and tactical acumen, which played a pivotal role in guiding Golden Warriors FC to the championship title.

FC Armour striker Oppong Asante stole the show, earning the Best Player award in the Eastern Region Division 2 Middle League after scoring 20 goals in 20 games.

As champions, Golden Warriors FC now joins the likes of Port City and Okwahu United, who recently qualified from the region, in Zone 3 of the National Division One League.

They will compete against top teams from the Eastern, Volta, and Greater Accra regions, taking a significant step towards realizing their dreams of reaching the pinnacle of Ghanaian football.
