Manchester City have been dealt a significant injury setback, with Erling Haaland expected to be sidelined for a period after sustaining an ankle injury.

Man City confirmed that Haaland underwent initial tests on his ankle on Monday and will now consult a specialist to assess the full extent of the damage.

With Pep Guardiola’s side still fighting for a top-four finish and Champions League qualification, City’s upcoming fixtures are crucial.
They face Leicester and Manchester United this week, followed by a home match against Crystal Palace and a trip to Everton. Man City will also have a FA Cup semi-final clash against Nottingham Forest at Wembley on April 26.
While no specific timeframe for Haaland’s recovery has been given, the club hopes he will return before the end of the season.
