Man United agree deal with Chelsea to sign Andrey Santos
Manchester United have reportedly agreed a deal with Premier League rivals Chelsea to sign midfielder Andrey Santos for a fee worth £48 million plus £2 million in add-ons for this summer, according to journalist David Ornstein.
The Brazilian midfielder had been on United’s radar since last season, however, the Blues sent a message to all suitors, including the Red Devils, that the player was not for sale at any price.
Ornstein further adds that, aside from the add-ons, the Blues have a 10% sell-on clause attached to the deal. Meanwhile, the London club has given the player permission to undergo his routine medical, with personal terms not an issue.

The 22-year-old is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Manchester club, as he seeks regular playing time to aid his development as a midfielder.
The Brazil international joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama and has since played on loan at Nottingham Forest and at Chelsea’s sister club Strasbourg.
During his time at West London, Santos featured in 43 appearances for Chelsea in all competitions last season, scoring three goals and contributing four assists.
United are also expected to complete a move for Brazil midfielder Ederson, who looks set to move to Old Trafford from Serie A side Atalanta.
