The agreement comes after a breakthrough season for the young defender
Raul Asencio signs long-term contract with Real Madrid

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Raul Asencio has signed a new long-term contract with Real Madrid, securing his future at the club.
The agreement comes after a breakthrough season for the young defender, who has made 25 first-team appearances since stepping up amid an injury crisis that sidelined Dani Carvajal, Éder Militão, and David Alaba.
Asensio’s new contract represents a significant financial upgrade from his previous terms. He is set to earn €6.2million next season, with a structured wage increase that could see his salary rise to €9million by the final year of the deal.

Asencio’s journey has been a rollercoaster. He was part of Real Madrid’s preseason tour of the United States, making his first-team debut in a friendly against Chelsea.

After returning to Castilla, the club’s B team, he earned his competitive first-team debut earlier this season as a substitute against Osasuna, impressively marking the occasion with an assist, delivering a long ball that set up Jude Bellingham.

His rapid rise has now been rewarded with a well-deserved contract extension.
