Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti eventually reach agreement to part ways

Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti have reportedly reached an agreement to part ways at the end of the season.
The agreement between the two sides is said to be announced before the end of the La Liga season.
According to The Athletic, Madrid and Ancelotti have reached an agreement over his departure that will allow him to take the Brazil job before the 2026 World Cup.
The 65-year-old’s departure was hinged on the two parties reaching an agreement over the terms of his exit and the payment he would receive.
Late last month, news of Real Madrid and Carlo Ancelotti’s agreement in principle emerged but was swiftly followed by a further update of the deal “on the verge of collapse”.
Hopefully, today’s update sees the end of one of the most extensive transfer sagas between Ancelotti and the Brazilian Football Confederation(CBF)
An official announcement is expected before the end of the season after negotiations between the manager and club have now come to a conclusion.

Xabi Alonso is the leading candidate to take over the Italian’s role at the Bernabeu, and the club will hope to have him appointed before the start of the Club World Cup in June.
Ancelotti had been expected to sign his contract with Brazil in April but the move stalled due to some disagreements over formalising the terms of his Madrid exit.
