Having endured a difficult season so far, countless reports have revealed that Ancelotti will leave once the campaign ends.
Nonetheless, the reigning La Liga champions will not stand in his way, as they back him in taking the Brazil national team job, devoid of any hard feelings.
Club president Florentino Perez’s idea is not just to honour Ancelotti’s final year of contract but also to fulfil a promise made earlier which is to keep him connected to Real Madrid even after retirement.
Ancelotti, who reportedly earns around €11m gross per season, is expected to stay in charge until the last match.
