Declan Rice’s thunderous strike rescued a point for Arsenal at Manchester United, but it did little to boost their pursuit of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Arsenal dominated the first half at Old Trafford but struggled to convert possession into clear-cut chances.
They were made to pay in stoppage time when United captain Bruno Fernandes curled a brilliant 25-yard free-kick past a poorly positioned David Raya.

Raya redeemed himself in the second half with crucial saves to deny Noussair Mazraoui and Joshua Zirkzee before Arsenal finally found their breakthrough with 16 minutes left.
Man United failed to clear their lines, and Rice unleashed a superb rising drive beyond Andre Onana at the Stretford End.
Despite the late equaliser, Arsenal remain 15 points behind Liverpool, who have played a game more, leaving their title aspirations hanging by a thread.
The Gunners could have left Manchester empty-handed had it not been for Raya’s heroic double save in the dying moments to deny Fernandes and prevent United from snatching all three points.
Liverpool Handed Huge Advantage In Premier League Title Race
The results this weekend have made it increasingly likely that Liverpool will lift the Premier League title in May.
Arsenal do have a game in hand, with the Gunners set to face Chelsea next weekend, while Liverpool will take on Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley.

However, even if Arsenal manage to beat Chelsea and reduce the gap from 15 to 12 points, Liverpool appear to have an unassailable lead at the top of the Premier League.
They have been the standout team this season, and barring a dramatic slump in form, it seems almost certain that they will be crowned Premier League champions.
