Paris Saint Germain winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has revealed that his team is confident they can turn their 1-0 deficit around when they face Liverpool on Tuesday night at Anfield in their UEFA Champions League last 16 second-leg clash.

The French champions created loads of goal scoring opportunities in the first-leg but failed to make the most of them. PSG were then punished in the final 10 minutes of the game as Harvey Elliot connected smoothly with a soothing pass from Darwin Nunez to give Liverpool the advantage at the Parc Des Princes.

This time around however, PSG are confident they will be taking their chances on in order to book a place to the quarter-final according to Kvaratskhelia.

The winger said to the media in the pre-match press conference: “We are motivated and prepared, but when you play against Liverpool at Anfield, you don’t need extra motivation. Playing for PSG already comes with its own motivation, especially in the Champions League. We have a great mentality in the team, and so we aim to win tomorrow. That’s our mindset.”

Liverpool will also be hoping to get the job done with their fans behind them as they remain one of the key favorites in the competition.
