Quansah is reportedly admired by senior figures at St James’ Park
Liverpool braced for £30m Newcastle bid for Jarell Quansah

Liverpool are set to receive a £30million bid from Newcastle United for Jarell Quansah, adding to the club’s growing transfer concerns.
The Reds are already dealing with uncertainty surrounding the futures of Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contracts are set to expire this summer.
Reports this week suggest that Alexander-Arnold has agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, while Salah and Van Dijk have yet to commit to new deals.
With Liverpool now solely focused on the Premier League title race, speculation over the trio’s futures has intensified.

Meanwhile, Quansah remains under contract at Anfield until 2028 after breaking into the first team last season.
The 22-year-old made 33 appearances in all competitions under Jurgen Klopp, scoring three goals.
Although new manager Arne Slot has used him less frequently, Quansah was called upon for this month’s Carabao Cup final when Alexander-Arnold was sidelined. Primarily a centre-back, the Warrington-born prospect can also fill in at right-back.
Now, Newcastle – Liverpool’s opponents in that Wembley final – are eyeing a move for the promising defender.

According to The Times, the Magpies believe a bid of £30 million plus add-ons could tempt Liverpool into a sale.
Having carefully navigated Premier League Profit and Sustainability Rules in recent transfer windows, Newcastle are prepared to invest heavily this summer, with a right-footed centre-back high on Eddie Howe’s wish list.
Quansah is reportedly admired by senior figures at St James’ Park. Despite earning two call-ups to the England senior squad, Quansah has yet to make his full international debut.
His limited game time this season, amid Liverpool’s dominance in the Premier League, has only fueled speculation about his future.
