Mikel Arteta receives the award for the “best-looking manager” of the season
‘Best-looking manager award’ is the only trophy Mikel Arteta will win – Teddy Sheringham

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has been told that the only trophy he could win is the award for the “best-looking manager” at the end of the season.
This “bitter” message was conveyed by Tottenham Hotspur legend Teddy Sheringham, following Arteta’s nomination as the best-looking coach in the 2024/24 season.
The Spanish tactician is still in the hunt for Champions League glory with the Gunners, a trophy that excaped him during his time as a player under former manager Arsene Wenger.

The north London outfit has made its way to the quarter-finals of that competition, where they will face title holders Real Madrid tonight at the Emirates Stadium.
Arteta’s men have yet again stuttered in their quest to win the Premier League in his fifth season as Arsenal boss – a trophy that has eluded the Premier League giants for years, even before he arrived.
The Gunners have only been able to achieve a third successive runners-up finish in the period, while domestic triumphs in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup have also fallen out of reach.
The 43-year-old manager has been named the best-looking coach in the English top flight, and that may be the only prize that he walks away with in 2024-25.

Now, the former Tottenham and Manchester United forward Teddy Sheringham, in his opinion, even thinks Arteta does not even deserve the award after such a poor showing once again in the elite league.

The ex-England international told casinoapps.com, that Arteta is considered to be undeserving of the one accolade that he has secured.
“Will it be the only trophy he wins? He can have that one.
“As for who I think should have won, you know what? I think Pep Guardiola. I just think he’s smooth.
“Everything he does, I think he’s smooth.
“I love his manner, I love the way he is, I love his positivity, I love his enthusiasm, his professionalism, and he’s cool as well, isn’t he?”
In Arteta’s response after being told that he had won his first “trophy” of the season, being the Premier League’s best-looking award:
“My mum and dad should be very proud for the job that they did.”
