Wharton has established himself as a promising Premier League talent
Liverpool keen to lure Adam Wharton away from Crystal Palace this summer

Liverpool are preparing to make a £50million-plus bid to tempt Adam Wharton to leave Crystal Palace, according to the Sun.
The Reds are focusing on the 21-year-old midfielder, whose exceptional passing ability could play a pivotal role in Arne Slot’s system.
Since his move from Blackburn Rovers in 2024, Wharton has established himself as a promising Premier League talent.

Wharton’s vision and quick distribution make him stand out as a potential future star, capable of being a key player for both club and country.
Although Wharton, who hails from the north-west, could be tempted by a move back closer to home, his primary concern will likely be securing enough playing time to continue his development.
The midfielder earned a spot in England’s Euro 2024 squad after his move to Palace but has been hindered by injuries this season, including a three-month layoff following a groin operation in November.

This has limited his appearances in what should have been a breakthrough campaign.
If Liverpool can present a compelling plan, particularly with the prospect of Champions League football, Wharton may be persuaded to make the move.

Palace, facing significant interest in their players this summer, will likely demand a hefty fee for Wharton, who still has over four years left on his contract.
Additionally, Blackburn are due a 15% share of any profit over the £18million Palace initially paid for the midfielder when they signed him from their academy 15 months ago.
Despite interest from top European clubs like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid, Wharton’s limited playing time this season means their interest has not yet materialised into concrete offers.
Since returning from injury, Adam Wharton has been a regular in the Palace lineup, featuring in every match since getting back to full fitness.
