DAMAC Properties announced as Chelsea’s front-of-shirt sponsor

This marks the second consecutive season in which Chelsea have gone without a permanent front-of-shirt sponsor

Chelsea have announced that DAMAC Properties will serve as their front-of-shirt sponsor for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.

However, the deal does not include coverage for this summer’s FIFA Club World Cup.

The Emirati property development company will feature on Chelsea’s shirts for the club’s final four Premier League fixtures, as well as their UEFA Conference League semi-final tie against Swedish side Djurgårde – and potentially the final, should the Blues progress.

The first leg of the semi-final, which takes place in Stockholm on Thursday, will mark the debut of DAMAC branding on Chelsea’s kits.

A competitive process remains ongoing to secure a long-term front-of-shirt sponsor.

This search includes potential partners for the Club World Cup, where Chelsea are guaranteed at least three group-stage matches.

The tournament is scheduled to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13.

Infinite Athlete agreed to a one-year deal in September 2023, reportedly worth around £40million ($53.4million), and later extended its presence on the kit during pre-season matches.

As part of the new partnership, DAMAC will also lead the development of Chelsea-branded residences in Dubai.

The luxury real estate project is expected to exceed £1billion in value and has been described by the club as “luxury living.”

Jason Gannon, president and COO of Chelsea Football Club, said: ‘DAMAC are world renowned in building luxury properties, and we are thrilled to be working with the industry leader to bring to market a first-of-its-kind branded Chelsea FC residence in Dubai.

“With the club located in the heart of London, the collaboration will bring Chelsea to life in Dubai, support our continued growth on the global stage. We can’t wait to see Chelsea Residences take its place in the Dubai skyline.”
