Ruben Amorim to foot the ticket bills for his backroom staff in the UEL final against Tottenham
Man United boss Ruben Amorim pays staff tickets for UEL final

Manchester United boss Ruben Amorim has reportedly taken it upon himself to pay for his backroom staff’s tickets for the Europa League final in Spain.
Amorim, in a shocking stance, has paid for 30 of his United backroom staff after being told by the club that his coaches, physios, and support team would have to pay for their tickets, sources have told ESPN.
United prepare for an all-English final against Tottenham Hotspur in Bilbao, Spain, on May 21, with the ultimate winner automatically securing a place in next season’s Champions League.

However, the Red Devils’ new financial managers would rather have eyes on cutting down costs by making provision for only two tickets for Bilbao available for staff to purchase rather than fund the entire staff’s trip to the final.

In sharp contrast, Champions League finalists Paris Saint-Germain confirmed last week that they would pay for 600 members of staff to attend their game against Inter Milan in Munich on May 31.
The decision by United, as revealed by sources to ESPN, is geared towards ensuring that supporters can purchase as many tickets as possible from the club’s 15,000 allocation for the game at Estadio San Mamés.

Not only will the staff be affected by this “strict measure”, but Players will equally receive their fair share – having only been allocated two tickets each, while family members and friends are also denied the opportunity of their travel cost being covered by the club.
Furthermore, Amorim has stepped in to pay for his support team, which includes staff with low wages, as a reward and recognition for their contribution and commitment during a difficult six months at the club.
Sources have revealed that the Portuguese manager, upon hearing the news that the club would not pay for tickets for his coaches and staff made it known to the Old Trafford bosses that he would fund the cost to ensure that every member could take up to two friends or family.
