The online news portal claims that “Jaissle’s Al Ahli contract runs until 2026 and he has turned down multiple offers of a new deal, leading to the club opening negotiations with other candidates, and talks are moving quickly with Postecoglou.”

It is believed that Jaissle’s potential exit would be complicated as he led the club to AFC Champions League success in May, and he remains a popular figure with supporters.

Spurs beat Ruben Amorim’s Manchester United 1-0 in Bilbao, claiming a first major for 17 years.

Tottenham, meanwhile, finished 17th in the Premier League after losing 22 out of 38 matches last season.

The 59-year-old left the club after just two seasons in charge, having joined them on a four-year deal from Celtic on June 6, 2023.

Thomas Frank has replaced Postecoglou at Spurs on a three-year deal.

He will be joined from Brentford by Justin Cochrane (First Team Assistant Coach), Chris Haslam (Head of Performance & First Team Assistant Coach) and Joe Newton (First Team Coach Analyst), with Andreas Georgson (First Team Assistant Coach) arriving from Manchester United.

Frank has been in charge of the Bees since October 2018 and led the club into the Premier League, winning the Championship play-off final at Wembley in 2021.

The 51-year-old has helped establish Brentford as a top-flight club on a small budget.

Brentford ended last season 10th in the Premier League, seven places and 18 points above Spurs.
