Juventus forward Timothy Weah recently opened up in an exclusive interview with Footie Center about the profound impact his father, George Weah, has had on his football career.

George Weah, renowned as the first African former professional footballer to become a head of state and the only African to win both the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards in 1995, has been a constant source of guidance for Timothy as he develops his own playing style.
Timothy revealed that his father’s experience and wisdom are invaluable to him on and off the pitch.
Speaking to Footie Center’s Thierry Nyann, Timothy Weah said:“He gives me a lot of information every time I play.
“He always has something to teach me.”

In addition to his father’s influence, Timothy gave credit to his mother, Clar Weah, for being his “biggest coach.”
He expressed heartfelt appreciation for her role in his life, stating, “My mum is actually my biggest coach, so shout out to her.”
On the field, Timothy Weah enjoyed a productive 2024/25 season with Juventus, making 42 appearances, scoring seven goals, and providing three assists in all competitions.
