Monaco have completed a move for former Manchester United and Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba on a two-year deal, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

The 32-year-old last played on September 3, 2023, and has been a free agent since his contract with Juventus was mutually terminated.
Pogba’s career has faced significant hurdles recently, including a suspension for breaching anti-doping regulations.
His return to Ligue 1 with Monaco is seen as a fresh start and an opportunity to regain his form and reputation as one of the best midfielders of his time.

The French international’s suspension was due to a positive doping test, which resulted in a four-year ban later reduced to 18 months after a successful appeal.
Despite the setback, Pogba remains eager to prove himself once again on the pitch and help Monaco challenge for top honors in the French Ligue 1 and the Champions League.

This transfer is a significant step for Monaco, who finished third in the French league last campaign and will compete in the Champions League next season.
Pogba’s experience and talent are expected to bolster the team’s midfield going into the new season, with the aim of toppling Paris Saint-Germain off the top of the summit.
