Bibiani GoldStars will compete in the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history

Ghana Premier League Champions Bibiani Goldstars have been drawn against JS Kabylie of Algeria for the 2025–2026 preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The draw has set the stage for an exciting journey as Goldstars prepares to showcase their prowess on the continental stage.

Goldstars will kick off their campaign with an home game in Kumasi before traveling to Algeria for the second leg.

This first leg will be crucial for the Ghanaian champions, as they aim to gain an advantage before traveling for the second game.

Bibiani Goldstars will compete in the CAF Champions League for the first time in their history after winning the Ghana Premier League on the final day.

The preliminary round first-leg matches will be played between September 19 and 21, with the return legs scheduled for September 26 and 28.

JS Kabylie finished second in the 2024/25 Algerian League campaign just two behind MC Alger.

The second leg is anticipated to be equally intense as both teams vie for a spot in the next round of the prestigious competition.

The winner of this tie will play against East End Lions OR or Monastir in the second preliminary round for a place in the group stage.
