2026 World Cup qualifiers : Black Stars probable line-up against Chad

The coach is likely to deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Ghana set to go on the offensive in search of another vital victory.

Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Benjamin Asare is tipped to retain his spot between the sticks after impressive performances in recent games. Debutant Caleb Yirenkyi is expected to start at right-back, with Gideon Mensah on the left.
In central defense, the absence of Alexander Djiku opens the door for a partnership between Mohammed Salisu and Jonas Adjetey.
In midfield, Elisha Owusu will provide defensive cover, while Thomas Partey is expected to play a box-to-box role. Further forward, Mohammed Kudus will operate in the No.10 role behind Jordan Ayew, who leads the line as the lone striker.
On the flanks, Antoine Semenyo (right) and Kamaldeen Sulemana (left) will add pace and creativity to Ghana’s attack.
Ghana currently sit top of the group with 15 points from six matches, while Chad are bottom without a point. A win today would further strengthen Ghana’s qualification hopes.
The match kicks off at 13:00 GMT.
