Head coach Charles Sampson has assembled a 20-player squad, with former Hasaacas Ladies striker Mercy Attobrah and Ampem Darkoa Ladies defender Comfort Yeboah among the notable inclusions.

Before the trip, GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku visited the team at their camp base in Accra, offering words of motivation:

“As you leave Ghana’s shores, I’ll be with you in spirit, and the entire nation will be behind you. I know you’re in capable hands, and you’ll do your best in Tunisia and come back home to finish the job.

On the path to success, you’ll face challenging moments, but champions overcome them to emerge victorious. Let’s go with confidence and play with confidence because we are Ghana. We have the quality and talent, and I wish you all the best.”

Also present at the camp was Executive Council member Eugene Nobel, who joined the President in encouraging the team.

The Black Princesses, with seven FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup appearances, will be aiming to secure a strong away result in Tunisia before returning home for the second leg.
