Premier League champions Arsenal have officially unveiled their new midfield signing, Bruno Guimaraes, during a pre-season friendly against Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund, in front of the ecstatic fans for the very first time on Sunday at the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners, who signed the Brazilian midfielder for a transfer fee worth £75 million from Premier League rivals Newcastle United, continue to reinforce their squad in defence of the league title in the 2026/27 season.
The 28-year-old versatile midfielder made his first Emirates appearance as an Arsenal player, wearing his favourite No. 39 jersey. The Brazilian midfielder walked out of the tunnel, and the Arsenal fans gave him a warm welcome.

He’s Arsenal’s second-most expensive signing, behind Declan Rice. He will be joining a group of midfielders which includes Rice, Martin Zubimendi, Martin Odegaard, Mikel Merino and Myles Lewis-Skelly.
The former Magpies captain, who had two years remaining on his contract at St. James’ Park, with an option for a third, is Arsenal’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window.
Mikel Arteta’s side have also secured the signature of Christos Tzolis, goalkeeper Illan Meslier and center-back Piero Hincapié on a permanent transfer this summer, after triggering his selling clause in his loan deal.
