It is expected that Sports Minister Kofi Adams will lift the lid on Black Stars recent budget
Budget for Chad and Madagascar game to be made available by Sports Minister-Parliamentary select committee

Sports Minister Kofi Adams will shortly give a briefing to the media regarding the Black Stars’ budget for their recent World Cup qualifying matches against Chad and Madagascar, according to the chairman of the Parliamentary Select Committee for Youth & Sports.
Public outrage over the delay in disclosing the costs of these matches by the Sports minister has prompted this statement.
The funds for national teams would be made public, as President John Mahama had previously pledged, tasking the Sports Minister to carry out this function.
Norgbey informed the public in a Citi Sports interview that there was no need for concern.
“The Sports Minister is prepping to brief the media very soon on the Black Stars budget for the Chad and Madagascar games. I am not sure there should be any cause for alarm.”
After battling in recent years, Ghana received much-needed support in March when they defeated Chad and Madagascar with resounding victories.

They will first play against Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, and Nigeria in the 2025 Unity Cup in May.
The sports minister Kofi Adams began his tenure earlier in 2025, taking over from Mustapha Ussif.
