With pressure mounting on Postecoglou, Silva has emerged as a possible candidate to take over in north London
Fulham boss Marco Silva dismisses Tottenham links

Marco Silva has reiterated his commitment to Fulham amid speculation linking him with a potential move to Tottenham Hotspur, as uncertainty continues to surround Ange Postecoglou’s future.
Spurs currently sit 16th in the Premier League table, while Fulham are comfortably placed in ninth.
With pressure mounting on Postecoglou, Silva has emerged as a possible candidate to take over in north London should a managerial change occur.
Tottenham remain in the hunt for European silverware, having reached the semi-finals of the Europa League, where they are set to face Bodo/Glimt.

However, even a triumph in the competition might not be enough to secure Postecoglou’s position beyond the current campaign.
Despite the rumours, Silva has distanced himself from the speculation, stressing his focus remains fully on Fulham.
The Cottagers are clinging to a faint hope of European qualification, currently nine points adrift of seventh-placed Aston Villa with five matches left to play.

Speaking after Fulham lost 2-1 to Chelsea, Silva told A Bola: “My head is at Fulham. We don’t control everything that happens around us. It’s not part of me.
“With such important games week after week, our total focus is here and we control what we can, which is preparing the players for the next games.”
Spurs manager Ange Postecoglou has already stated that he intends to remain at Tottenham beyond the current campaign
“It depends on your outlook. I think irrespective we should keep building on what we’ve started. We’ve had a clear plan from when we started on how we’re going to play, what kind of squad we’re going to have, how we’re going to build that squad,” he said.
“I don’t think it’s any secret, we’ve gone for a certain age profile, knowing it’s something we’re going to build on and that should continue. I don’t think it should change. Obviously if you get Champions League football, that accelerates certain things.
“We know the demands of European football, irrespective of the competition – particularly Europa and Champions League can have a serious effect on your capabilities as a club. Not just us but all clubs. You can see that.
“We’ve got an exciting young squad and we’ll continue to improve. We’ve obviously had some challenges this year around particularly injuries and our ability to cope with Europe and domestic [fixtures], and I feel we’re better placed to tackle that if we’re in Europe next year but in terms of the overall policy, I wouldn’t see any significant change.”
