Arda Guler has left his thoughts on his lack of playing time and future at Real Madrid, insisting that he believes more minutes will come, knowing there is a plan in place by Los Blancos to have him rise through the ranks in the next years.
Guler joined Real in the summer of 2023 despite reportedly being linked with FC Barcelona days prior to his move to Madrid.
Although he has already clinched four titles since joining the club, Guler has not been regularly featuring in games, and that exacerbated existing rumors of a possible exit from the club in the coming years.
Arda’s revelation comes in the wake of his back-and-forth troll with Dominic Szoboszlai after Turkey’s 3-0 win over Hungary in the UEFA Nations League play-off at the Puskas Arena..
Szoboszlai took to social media to troll Guler after losing the game, posting an alleged snapshot of the teenager’s heatmap this season.
Arda Guler has hit back at the trolls, stating that he believes his time at Madrid will come, knowing there’s a plan in place for his growth.
“I will succeed at Real Madrid, for sure. Real Madrid gave me a plan, and I still believe in it. I will succeed at this club”, he told Marca.
In 28 appearances for Madrid in two seasons, Guler has contributed to 10 goals, netting seven times while assisting thrice.
