Kudus is a doubt for Ghana ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup
Kudus doubtful for World Cup after injury setback

Ghanaian international Mohammed Kudus looks set for more time on the sidelines after suffering a setback in his recovery from a long-term quad injury at Tottenham Hotspur.
Kudus was nearing a return after picking up the injury in January, but reports now suggest a fresh complication, with the extent still unclear.

There are growing concerns that surgery could be required a scenario that may rule him out for the remainder of the season and potentially impact his availability for the upcoming World Cup.
New Spurs boss Roberto De Zerbi had been hopeful of welcoming Kudus back soon, making this setback a significant blow for the team.
Kudus has been one of Ghana’s key players, and his fitness will be closely monitored ahead of the tournament, where the Black Stars face England, Croatia, and Panama.
The yet-to-be-appointed Ghana head coach will also be hoping the attacker regains full fitness in time for the Mundial, given his importance to the team.
Kudus joined Spurs from West Ham United and has since contributed two goals and five assists in the league this campaign. He has featured in 19 of Tottenham’s 31 Premier League matches so far.
He missed the Black Stars’ friendlies against Austria and Germany due to injury. His absence is a big blow for Tottenham who are battling relegation.
