Manchester United among clubs interested in Lyon star Rayan Cherki

Manchester United are one of several Premier League clubs showing an interest in signing Lyon’s Rayan Cherki.
Cherki has long been regarded as one of Europe’s brightest young talents.
Despite interest from multiple clubs, the 21-year-old’s commitment to reaching the top has been questioned in the past, leading to concerns over his readiness for a move to a top-tier European club.
As a result, instead of being linked with the continent’s elite, clubs like Crystal Palace, Everton, and Atalanta were reported to be among those interested in securing his signature.

This shift in interest had an impact on Cherki, who came to realise that bigger clubs were hesitant to take a chance on him.
However, he has since dedicated himself to improving his game, and his performances this season are reflecting that newfound commitment.
According to TBR Football, Manchester United are one of the English clubs actively monitoring Cherki’s situation.
Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa, and Newcastle United are also interested in the young midfielder, who has seemingly transformed his attitude.
So far this season, Cherki has made 26 appearances for Lyon, scoring eight goals and providing 17 assists, numbers that have once again caught the attention of top clubs.
Cherki’s form was also on full display during France U21’s 5-3 victory over England in the recent international break.
While Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike stole the headlines with a hat-trick, many observers felt Cherki was the standout player, contributing a goal and two assists.

Lyon are reportedly prepared to let Cherki leave for a fee of less than £25million this summer, and his contract is expected to allow him to move on at that price.
Manchester United will get a closer look at Rayan Cherki when they face Lyon in the Europa League later this month. His performances in that two-legged tie will be crucial in the race for his signature.
Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are reigniting their interest in the midfielder, and both European giants could enter the fray this summer.
Chelsea, who were once considered the front-runners for Cherki’s signature, have cooled their interest following the arrivals of Cole Palmer, Kendry Paez, and Estevao. However, they continue to respect his talent.
